Delivery (General Notes)

  • Orders received before 2pm (Monday to Friday) are dispatched the same working day, subject to stock availability.
  • A signature is required at the time of delivery, otherwise the items will not be left.
  • Any delivery dates suggested by us are for guidance purposes only. We will use all reasonable efforts to meet delivery dates, but we shall not be liable for any loss caused through delay to deliver whether direct, indirect or consequential.
  • Delivery charges are calculated automatically in the Shopping Cart depending on value, total order weight and delivery location.
  • We only deliver to addresses in the UK along with common EU countries such as Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain and Sweeden.
  • All items must be inspected immediately upon delivery, and we must be notified of any damaged, missing or incorrect items within two working days.
  • Delivery (by Royal Mail)

  • Some small light weight orders may be sent by Royal Mail, and we give a choice of 1st and 2nd Class.
  • If the items are too large or heavy to be sent Royal Mail they will be sent by courier.

    Delivery (by Courier)

  • Most orders are sent by courier, which will either be APC-Overnight or Parcelforce
  • As a rule of thumb smaller orders get sent by APC, with larger parcels sent by Parcelforce, but can also depend on what time the couriers collect from us.
  • As soon as your order is dispatched we will email the relevant tracking details to the email address you supplied.
  • If your order is sent by Parcelforce, they will normally contact you by email and text message to give you a delivery window in which your pacel should be delivered.
  • If there is no one present to take delivery, a card will be left and you will need to contact your local depot to arrange re-delivery.
  • Delivery will only be attempted twice, after which the goods will be stored at your nearest delivery depot for three days, during which time you will have to collect them.
  • If your order is sent by Parcelforce, and there is no one present to accept the delivery it will often be left at your local Post Office for you to collect, but availability of this service depends on distance and opening hours of your local Post Office.
  • If after three days you have not collected the goods they will be returned to us, and any costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
  • If the outer packaging is damaged, or one of a number of parcels is missing you must endorse the consignment note supplied by the carrier accordingly.
  • If you the customer refuses to accept the delivery the goods will be returned to us, and any costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
  • You can leave any special insructions to help the delivery driver when placing the order, but please keep it brief as we only have a space of around 30 characters for special instructions. Please dont have unrealistic expectations, please dont ask them to call 5 minutes before delivering, as it is never going to happen. Also requests to leave goods without a signature are done on a case by case basis, so if your someone who has been ordering from us for years and wants us to leave £20 worth of goods without a signature we will probably tell them to do it, althought if your a brand new customer asking us to leave £300 worth of stuff on your doorstep its simply not going to happen.
  • Returns

  • Any goods to be returned have to be first authorised by the seller within 7 days of receipt of goods.
  • The goods must be returned at your own cost within 14 days along with relevant invoice, and be in a new and saleable condition.
  • Delivery charges and return delivery charges are not refundable, apart from where we have supplied a part in error.
  • Specially ordered and electrical parts cannot be returned for refund.
