This dipstick is most commonly found on older Petrol models such as Mk2 Golf GTi, and are quite common to break where the plastic gets brittle with age.
Notes: These are not correct for 2.0 16v 9A models, although think the main difference is the handle part is different to clear the inlet manifold, so may be fine if you have a 16v on carbs or throttle bodies.
